Spring!

Spring is here in Tennessee! To me its been more like spring since February. For the past one or two weeks its been in the mid 80s. So its been sweltering but it has also been a great time to go outside which means its been a GREAT time to take pictures outdoors. You know what I love about this time of year? The smell of freshly cut grass. Go ahead and laugh but there is nothing like taking a deep breath of that sweet smell. Well, hopefully more pictures will be coming soon.

A Time for Hope

I love that it is hot enough to go outside and play, that it is almost Easter when my family and I watch that old movie called The Ten Commandments. Where my brothers might act out Moses or the passover. When my sister and I sing in the choir at our church Easter songs about Jesus. When we as Christians stop and think our Lord and Savior rose again on this day and because of that -as the hymn says- I can face tomorrow.

My Simple, Lovely Life.

Cooking, Algebra, Basketball, laughter, fun times, {trying} to eat healthy, schoolwork, snapshots and family. Yup, that pretty much sums up what I've been doing. Today has been busy. Actually its been a busy week. Friday we had storms and tornadoes in Tennessee, it wasn't as bad in our area as last year but it did snap some of our pines in half and thankfully they didn't land on the deck! A town near us got hit pretty hard so be in prayer for them. I WILL have pictures coming soon!
